The UN is on the verge of becoming a threat to peace, rather than just ineffective in its defense. Resolution 181, which the Arab Palestinians and sovereign nations have ignored for over 64 years, has yet to be enforced by that august body. How does the UN even contemplate membership of terrorist organizations that have rejected its resolutions and attacked a sovereign state established under its aegis? The UN is spiraling into a Kafkaesque parody of international diplomacy.
